Drive 5 minutes north from Kent, at the Southern end of the Freetown Peninsula, or a few hours south of Freetown, depending on the conditions of the road. Turn left at Burreh and head to the beach on the right hand side. Waves break off of the river-mouth.
Prince and two young kids are the only local surfers in the area although I was told two French guys have been living and surfing there. Prince is a super nice guy. His friend Moustapha will cook up a lip-smacking barracuda lunch while you surf.
General
The spot has potential. Prince claims it gets really fun. I surfed it once in March and it was small and blown out but I was told it is better in the rainy season.
