take the highway north from the beach at étang-salé. on the right just before the first bridge is a small sand parking spot. walk to the beach under the bridge and the
impossible to surf when the Brisant is good - tends to break too steeply, quickly, a solid wall of beach break. small swells hit a sand delta in front of the bridge, alternating between a converging Left and Right; at its best, large sets roll in from the SW and a crest forms off toward the north tip of the bay, causing a solid Right into the beach.

great little spot to try when it seems like nothings hitting.. keeps you guessing - on any given day the lineup can appear in any one of 4 different spots between Le Tournant proper and the tip of the bay, called Les Galets.

this wave doesn't break much often anymore, but still gets good after a big swell with the right banks and the northerly wind,black sand beach and perfect on cyclonic northern swell with solid rights breaking all along the bay.Gets easily and quickly big,watch out!
