namibian chicks
whats up everybody. i plan on surfing namibia for a month next year. i understand the surf is pretty good and uncrowded. my question is; how about the chicks? are they hot? do they surf? and more importantly do they like to drink and get laid. any answers would be appreciated

Google geek
All these new spots popping up in the diamond mining area, inaccessable to everyone except some guy sitting infront of the computer on google earth looking for something with some kind of potential to post on the internet for everyone else to find a way to surf it.

Namibian hospitality
Surf?? There are waves, lots of them if you know where to look. If you have the time to search, just like any other place on the planet on the right day you will find waves. This is no indo but there is certainly good waves around. Drive up the coast and find a spot to surf, you will not be the first do do this. The locals are few and not many of them can actually surf allthough they think they they rip. They are unfriendly and will drop and hassle if they don't know you. Just like any other place on the planet at least here you will find cooking uncrowded waves on the right day.

Really good in July and August :)
Yep the surfs really good in the winter months and if you lucky you'll be having a few great offshore days with the winter east wind. As you can see 2 messages down, there is a surf shop but before i say more i'd like to ask the owner what quality boards and wetsuits he rents out. Because i wouldn't be happy if someone told me not to bring my own equipment because they have equipment to rent and when i get there i get a 3/2 shorty and a 9 ft sponge longboard for N$100/day in the middle of winter.(Seriously to the owner of the surf shop i'm not trying to be sarcastic but maybe you should let us know what you rent out, quality and quantity wise just so people know what they get for their money and how many longboarders, shortboarders and bodyboarders you are able to supply at a time? Until that time comes i will advise people to bring their own equipment)As for the film crew i hope your questions get answered soon and hope you have a great time in Namibia both in and out of the water.
