Sidi ifni Access
When you come from the Taghazoute area you just drive south all the time, pass Tiznit and it will be around 200 kilometres. There are signs. When you arrive in Sidi Ifni, you will see clearly where the rivermouth is, and then there is the wave when the swell is there.
descend the old spanish stairs of the town of sidi ifni and you're there.

Additional Surfing Infos
The spot is in the center, when you want to camp close by, there is a camping which is almost for free a bit more south into the city along the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Before you go into the water, look and smell for pollution, then sometimes there is this ugly sewer-waste, which you for sure get sick from. Also look out for big rips with the change of tides and when there flows a lot of water out of the river.
  Overview
Atmosphere Because it is more south than the most people would go, it is more relaxed and less crowded. very nice locals. It just to be a spanish settlement. South of the town, in the harbour is a other spot. It works when it is big though only. From the harbourwall breaks a right wave into deeper water and also in front of the reef.
very nice spot, they caught a 3m white shark here a couple of years ago, a lot of people know the spot better than me i think and could give better swell and wind indications, the basic feeling was very nice, both locals and internationals surf here, there are thre waves here, a right, a beachbrake out front and a left, i am a clumsy surfer but i did manage to get the right wave once
the town is not so big so there is hardly any hassle.
General Just let yourself go into their culture, in their way of living, usually makes things more easy and you will have better contact with the people who live there. Makeen Mouskien.
- good spot, easy going feeling

BEWARE THE "SURF TAXI"!
Just got back from there, waves were fun though the water quality can be a bit suspect. I'm writing this blog to warn other surfers to watch out for aFrench guy named John/Jonathon and his "Surf Taxi". (see the guy crouching on the landrover in photo) This guy is a geniune con man. He owes money all over town. After seeing his very professional looking website (which exists on his laptop but not actually online) we signed up for his "desert point trip" which was an absolute farce as soon as he'd milked most of the money off us to pay his debts. We ended up taking one of his longboards and selling it in the surfshop to recover some of the money he owed us. BE WARNED! Very dishonest.
