Hi! I am planning to go there end of february, beginning of march. Does anybody know if it is a good period? I heard that it is quite windy? any idea of he height of the waves during that period? If it is really flat..i get bored =)

..was there last year summer time..very very windy. Now planning to be back in november. Anyone knows about the wind and the waves around that time?

Fantastic place to surf
Had the best 2 weeks, most chilled town, fantastic surf and manager at Chez Rebecca Bizbiz who doubled as our surf instructor was a legend. Be back next winter!!

yes, essaouira is a nice place to surf, and to relax. waves are incredibles and people too. i'll met a lot of people in just a week! i was surprised because people are so cool... i miss you essaouira

I've recently got back from a trip to essaouira...and i have to say that this town is incredible for a nice peaceful vacation. Their are many surf spots like sidi kaouki and moulay...and people are really driendly..ready to give you a hand any time. I actually learned how to surf there for free thanxs to the help of the local people. All in all its a nice place...yet a little boring considering the lack of night life.

very windy
right now there are a LOT of windsurfers in essaouira and sidi kaouki.swell ok, but a lot of wind.

it's true that in essaouira ther is a lot of wind it's good 4 wind surf kite-surt u know .but 4 a good surf i advice sidi bouzid

this spott sux
this spott is always to windy and the waves are to small and close out. DO NOT GO TO THIS SPOTT FOR SURFING. windsurfing here is really good and you can rent wsurf stuff everywhere. For windsurfing go to sidi kaouki (half an hour with the bus (7dh) and waves are better here. close to this spott is cap sim, which is an even better spott.
