surfer
Don't know what the fuss is all about! Look around the area everyone, wind generators! What does that mean? Lots of wind. The place isn't worth it! The locals are hard as hell for a place that is average at best when it is on. To much wind and a funny swell direction. Loads more surf options down south without the wind and cleaner water. Am not trying to put you off, go try it for your self, I did and sat for 4 weeks in prime season without any so called "world class waves." The place is overrated...

Please be cool, smile & behave
Please stop it!
If you still want to surf in quiet places with cool atmosphere & no pbs. with the locals, stop posting pictures & maps of places like this one. It's the country side there, this place has been kept quite for years, local people (not surfers) there have no academic education & live only from fishing, they used to be sweet & welcoming, today we are noticing more & more rips & violence. We, as Moroccan surfers, are trying to preserve places like this one from mass tourism. These kind of posts will push us to talk/ act tough toward some stupid foreigners who respect nothing & not even there hosts. Please behave... PS: Ian Walsh, don't ever come back surf in our country if your're looking for fights, you might never surf again... (sincerely sorry for the cool people who are reading this shitty message i'm posting, but this guy is exactly the kind of person you don't wanna meet here or there, sorry again)

Surfing at night here is highly recommended!! Such a wicked long wave. Dont worry about the locals gain their respect and you'll be fine, though i did meet a few surfers who'd been stoned while surfing. Sidi Kaouki is a bit of a hike but the best tanjine in morocco.

locals take it up the arse
good fun wave, definately worth the walk, ignore the locals out there, like most loudmouths- when it comes down to it they're little girls. enjoy

check out this
The thrid photo at the Sidi Kaouki spot is actually a Cap Sim photo.
We live in modern times, flying in planes to the other side of the world, mobile phones at our ears and everyone nowadays in on internet, so what the fuck, this is our world, migrating people all over the place. surfers who surf other spots, whats the big deal, go with the time, just behave and clean up after yourself and teach people that we have to share.

On one hand I understand why people get upset, but the same people who are complaining their breaks aren't secret anymore are busy looking at breaks posted by others!

Surfers are generally lazy and few will walk an hour to surf when's there's other options!!! I surfed Uluwatu with a hundred inconsiderate aussies and brazilians on "The Peak" but a 10 minute paddle to "temples" and it was empty (bar one other) and better!!

Those that look will find, next time some random surfer turns up at your local remember how you like to be treated on your travels!

fair feedback
well, very surprised and disappointed to see this spot on a website. We got kicked by locals and had to surf further in the bay, not a nice feeling (we were 2 surfers, they were 4).
This spot remains only fun and has nothing to do with other World Class spots around. Over 4 feets, it was closing out in the Bay, so I might agree with the "Stop the big deal" message.

aussie living in morocco
This place is hard to find and the locals dont like telling you where to go , so it will stay secret for some time and you hacve to know what wind and swell it works on ...so dont worry guys the locals will look after it ...brahim , mustafa and munic ....heavies who dont muck around ...
