Local dickhead
In response to the comments regarding a Surf Maroc employee I would like to to add that we do not employ anyone called 'Nort' nor have any of our staff been in fights in or out of the water. Whilst I am sympathetic to the frustrations of the author and hope this rare incident hasn't put him/her off Morocco, I would urge them to get their facts straight as this sort of misleading information can be damaging to a business. If you felt so strongly about the incident and were sure it was a Surf Maroc employee then you could of reported it to us in person or by email and action would of been taken had it been one of our employees. Again I am saddened to hear about what happened to your friend and hope it has not put you off returning to Morocco but please research your comments before posting them on forums.

Best Regards,

where have you been all my life
Aloha,
Look's very nice, What is the biggest board required for 8' to 10' (16'to 20' faces) and does it get that big often? Also what is the official language of Morocco?
much thanks

in oncher point, there are no rules you have to have experience and guts to surf it , it looks beautiful from the rocks but my god when you r in the water is sometheing else.it is without a doubt one of the most stunning wave in the world to surf. but respect it.

Respect...
The Golden rule is a good way to start out. Treat everyone as you would like to be treated, being concerned as you are you should have no problem. The Moroccans I know are very down to earth and respect other cultures openly, "They know you're not Muslim." This is easy though, Don't put the soles of your shoes or feet in someones face. Common to take off your shoes when entering someones house. If you do make a mistake you can show you are sorry by touching your heart and saying that you are. In general touching your heart shows that you really mean what you're saying "from the heart." Just let them see that you want to learn their ways and they will be eager to help! One other thing, be generous while you're there, their poverty level is among the highest I have ever seen. Good luck
