true or false I checked on the web before going there. I saw so many positive stuff that I didn't beleive the negative posts in that forum. I'm just finishing my trip with Surfland and I can tell you : this place is incredible, and the Surfland logistic is just, perfect! everybody can surf with Surfland, from 3 y.o to 80! also dogs (crazy Chico...and Laurent. Check on youtube Chico+surf+oualidia). No crowd, no ego people, no stress,.... just fun and good vibes. Thanks so much, I'll be back asap Don't listen negative people... and check on the web, Surfland does a lot of good things (but they dont want a website!!!)

Surfland and Miramon How can I forget this dude.Back in the 90's i took a trip with some friends down the coast and we arrived at dawn patrol in Oualidia. We were getting ready to paddle out when 2 dudes approched us and told us that it was a private beach.I asked them politely to leave knowing that they were bullying us.They left only to come back quickly with this French guy claiming that we must be part of his surfclub to be able to paddle out.I could have called the authorities but decided to take my friends to Les tomates for some epic surf.Sorry but beware of this guy.

Surfland is not to be trusted I also had a bad experience with the idiots who run Surfland in Oualidia. When I arrived they gave me all kinds of information which turned out to be completely wrong. I think they enjoyed pulling my leg. Oualidia is a great spot, but look for the little surf school that has a garage backing onto the lagoon. They don't have a sign, but they're really helpful and knowledgable.

facts the guy you met is not a local! and Laurent is sorry for you! If you want to get in contact with him : surfland@menara.ma . He was upset by the situation and you are lucky because he avoid the worst for you! But next time try to contact local surfer before jumping in the water

good waves there, but rare left or right, depending from the swell direction, but must be clean condition. You should have contact with local surfer before going surfing in that kind spot. I know the place, the locals,...but the guy who charges you is not a local, but an ego surfer who believe is a local everywhere in Morocco. I call Laurent right now to understand the real situation.

the wave pumps Paddle across from the village to the other side of the bay. Walk over the dune/rocks. The locals wil take you over in a boat also. its no secret here-good lefts! You can't miss them. The other guys right. Plenty of spots to stay in town. Surfland is a dive

surfland, oualidia the surfers and people in morocco are some of the nicest ive met. but unfortunately ive met this french/moroccan guy in the lineup in oualidia as well. its a sad state of affairs when you and your 16 yr old brother get threatened and told to get out of the water before catching a wave when theres only 5 ppl in the surf. its even sadder watching these knobs try to surf it and 90% of the waves go unridden. if you wanna try tow into 3 foot sets pretending its 15 then stay with the kooks that run surfland. most arrogant wankers ive ever met

the blond viking Hay unos, y son muchos, que no son malos. Pero siguen uns que tienen un EGO tan fuerte que se olbidan las cosas essentiales. A todos de Surfland, un abrazo para todos....y nunca mas un viking gay por alla!!!!

Laurent Miramont and his minions Are a bunch of kooks, they reckon the sun shines outta dem arse just cause they got a camp... Seems to me the guests are there for them to have a good time, not them there for guests to have a good time. No help in finding spots or getting waves, too self absorbed to make a good job of running it and all the staff were too cool for their socks. Bunch of up-themselves-wankas. Go elsewhere and avoid the laurent twat who has been causiong a nuisance to travelling surfers for over 15 years. Surprised nobody burnt the place yet...
