Additional Surfing Infos |
| | The hike from Fort Metal Cross in Dixcove to the actual spot takes approximately 20-30mn and local guides can be hired cheaply for less than $1-2. Boats can also be hired to drop you at the spot. Everything is negotiable. Cars can be hired from Agona junction or Busua, but the walk is relatively short and well worth it. Chances are you will be staying at Busua Beach anyway.

Overview |
| |
Atmosphere |
Dixcove is a working fishing village and doesn't have the chill vibe associated with Busua. Care should also be taken on the footpath between the two villages because of reported of muggings. This is uncommon and many people walk the path during the day. As a precaution, do not take any valuables. Budget accomodations at Busua are also nicer with good food. Recommended places to stay such as Alaska Beach Club, Dadson's, and Mary's Guest House at approximately $5-8 per night. |

General |
The break takes a bit of work to get to, but can be very fun and not too threatening. |
