ghana surfshop
hey guys,
i have been staying in ghana for 2 month and i am staying here for another 5 months.
i have seen the whole time nice waves, but i was to lazy to look for a surf shop, where i can borrow or buy a surfboard. does anybody of you know if there is something like a shop in accra or close to it?
that would be great.

Surfing in Ghana from Sept 11 2007
Hi,
I'm heading over to Ghana surfing on Sept 11 for a couple of weeks. The group I was going with fell through and just wondered if anyone else was around that time and interested.

Coming soon in Accra
Hi there,

I will be arriving in Accra Monday 9th of April and as I bring my surfboard (6' 2") I hope to have some surf there. I was wondering if someone could eventually show me around some spots? We are staying in Accra and we have a car. In addition I do have some extra questions:

How is the surf at this period of the year?
Is it true that the current is very strong? If yes, is it for the whole coast of just some spots?

Coming to Accra on Monday 9th April
Hi there,

I am arriving on Monday 9th of April in Accra. We will stay there for 2 weeks. I am bringing my board with me and I will have a car. I would really appreciate if someone could share some times for few session.

hello,

im a florida guy coming to tema at the end of this month (march). Is there any surf in Tema? how far is the surf shop from there. i would like to meet someone to show me where to surf, i brought my 6'0 rusty-fish with me. i will on be in tema for 4 days or so.

BUSUA BEACH
There is a surf shop in Ghana!!! Black Star Surf Shop, managers name is Franky. Small but has the necessities: wax, leashes, ding repair, boards for rent and cold beer. Located at Busua Beach. Anyway, surf wasn't bad. Definate potential to hold some swell. Some protection a cove and small outer island which is rocky but rideable. You can paddle it on a longboard (1000 yds) or pay for a boat ride. Small shorebreak, fun short board at the time 1-3 foot. Sand bottom. We had fun there. Nice resort near by. A Canadian girl in Ghana - sufing please....
I am coming to Accra in ten days and staying from December 20th until January 10th and I really want to surf, unfortunately don't have a board, if anyone know about rentals or where I can get a board please email me. If anyone wants to show a girl some good spots that would be great too. Thx.

Board for sale
yeah i'm here studying at the University of Ghana, near Accra. I'm want to sell one of my boards, it's an epoxy board 7'2" in perfect condition. It comes with a board bag, extra wax etc. I will be here until next june but i will be in East Africa from the end of dec to end of jan.
