Surf trip description:

Sweet Peniche...

Yep, only this time with a van. We had "terrible" weather, a lot of rain, good waves, when not raining it was sunny, very warm, 25C all the way and water was round 20C.

Yep, there were guys with surftrunks in the water, all in need for assistance after 2 hours or so :), i tried it too and was great... "freaks" of the lineup.

We cruised around a lot this time, checking Ericeira and "southeren" parts of Portugal. Waves were great, we had a lot of headhigh to over- days, some days of double over ankle (of course, wavekillers full-on) and great fun with longboards.

Found great appartment for 6-10 people, very cheap and in the city center, although i longed for camp and sound of waves smashing the shore at night... eh. I had very snoring companion in my room, one night i didnt sleep at all, he WAS that loud :D.

All in all, Portugal never cease to amaze me, such a diversity, people, waves, land...

Just, I dont understand this, in Slovenia there is common belief that if you surf you must be some kind of veggie/vege/I-eat-only-cheese-and-bread/food-is-you/etc. kind of people. We had couple of firstimers with us and one was ultra-hard-core-vegge-i-eat-only-green-stuff type of weirdo who washed the food with cemical solution for dishwashing (CiF or whatever), because of... ah, i dont know why.

She was just plain stupid, anyway we all drank the water, bathe and there were no weird things growing on ourselves, no one was walking at night with knife saying:"must kill, must kill..."... hm.

All in all, very fun.
