Surf trip description:

Summer wacations, i hate them.So many people in the water, lousy surf conditions, but its hot and girls are really fit from those months of spring running.

We took a trip to Biarritz, to a great (and expensive) camp, where we found out that most of the people were from Slovenia - around 70 people, luckily not in a single group... phew.

What suprised me most were actually excellent surfing conditions. That summer was great. Only 3 days or so were unsurfable with strong onshore wind and really choppy conditions.

But, in THE surfcenter of France, you cant avoid crowds. It was quite stuffend in the lineup, respect to those who surfed on the finals of that football championship (we were like 6, 7 in the water), great conditions that evening, glassy, 5 feet and just perfect.

So, the best thing for surfing is to go in early morning (6.30, 7am) no one around, still morning calm and chance to drink from 10am to 3pm, sobering up and still surf evening sessions. But during the day it was just too much for me. Schools, flags, lifesavers, swimmers, perfect time for sunbathing and checking the fashion on french girls... beautiful.
