I found a job, and ive been in manuel antonio up until oct.. surfing everyday. usually chest high or better. some days in the double overhead range. solid surfing more days than not, just got to wait for it. watch out for the rocks on the inside, its usually fine, but ive caught little inside tubes and gotton thrashed against them acouple times...seems like a pretty mellow rock in terms of sharpness and scraping and stuff...dont be worried about it, just keep an eye on them. also, crocs and logs frequent the impact zone after rains. all and all it was a good wave. day before i left, surf was overhead for sure, prolly not double, but it had really nice size and shape. surfed alone for an hour and a half, then acouple guys showed up, and we surfed until dark. got to the beach, found a friend and ended up selling my 6'0 right there on the beach so I could have 60 dollars to travel home on. epic trip. its january now, and im still broke, but living in montana soon to be new mexico, and still checking the surfline everyday. maybe baha next?
