--- Well just for the record AYAMPE is a great town. The waves are very consistent there and the are no crowds EVER ! I can honestly say that even if there are few people surfing, you can wal about every 300 yards and surf alone for a few miles ! This particular session i was out by myself and i was amazed that there wasnt a soul out but me. The waves were solid 4-6 feet and 2 feet overhead on the better sets. The wave has a powerful punchy takeoff and then you can milk it for a few hundred yards if you get the right one. It tubes here if the right swell direction is coming in. The wind is never a problem here because of the big beautiful green mountains around the beach. This session was really fun and i surfed for 2 hours before a crowd of 6 came to surf the fun waves with me. GO to www.area0surf.com
