Description:

Over a couple of days worked on technique after lessons at Carcons. Nothing happened on the first day, but on the afternoon of the second day I decided to take out  Zuma Jay, which I have never been able to ride as it was too small for my experience level. It is also not bouyant enough. I went out without a wetsuit and decided to go straight in for a wave, caught it and was up and riding. This was really the first time I have managed to do this and to do it on this board was amazing for me. Really happy.

The picture shows me a little unstable on the morning session with a larger board. No shots of the afternoon, but I was better - honestly ;)

This is a shot of the me the same morning on a hired board. As you can see I am a little unstable coming in on the whitewash. The afternoon session I managed to take a leap forward on a friends board.
