Description:

The waves today were not as large as yesterday, but still very fun.  Scott and I headed to town for our customary Saturday dawn patrol earlier than normal to beat the inevitable crowds that we knew would come.  We paddled out a little past five only to meet up with ten others who had the same idea.  We had a bomber head high set roll through and we all caught some solid waves.  By 6am our numbers had tripled and as the bigger sets would roll in you had to fight traffic before you could trim into the face that you shared with at best three other surfers.  However, there were enough waves and long enough breaks for everyone to share and make for a very fun sunrise session.
