Description:

Half Moon buoy read 14.2 ft @ 12 sec...decided to paddle out to Ross's Cove to the North. Put board in the water and was hit by a little sneaker, launching the board right at me.  Went to the ER in San Mateo and crawled through the parking lot in my wetsuit.  They said I had bruised a rib so the doc shot me up with something anti-inflamitory.  He gave me an ice pack and sent me on my way.  Drove back to Mav's to get the board...it was gone...damn.Drove back home...San Mateo ER called and said to come back.  Long story short...three broken ribs, a broken vertabrae and a collapsed lung...damn.  Five days later...I checked out of St. John's in Santa Monica.Worst part is that someone grabbed my 12'6" stand-up paddlegun.
