Surf trip description:
My one nd only surftrip! Quit my job nd went 2 Bali. 6 weeks on my own, magical. Started easy with lots of surfing on Kuta, Legian nd German reef (halfway 2 Kuta reef). Waz a bit worried bout the traffic nd wondered how to get around, since i didnt dare 2 drive in the chaotic traffic. My 1st solution waz 2 hook up with Jumbo at Tubes, he drove me on his motorcycle. Went 2 Changoo nd Dreamland, Changoo waz perfect, a bit heavier then Kuta beach, nd not 2 crowded, and even righties... (u know us Norwegians really cant surf, so we have 2 take it gradually). After a while I met another Norwegian, Alex, a several year student along the goldcoast. Great surfer and as mad as the locals while driving... So finally I got some sessions at Uluwatu, I was really careful, a bit worried of dropping in, the corals nd the heavy, fast wave.... but after a while I got me some leftovers. Whooa, Great! Never been so focused, nd never had better waves, even though I was way down at the racetrack. My homebreaks will never be the same !!!!
