Surf trip description:

Peniche

I dont know was luck or faith, but my first look on the beaches of Portugal was next to a small fishing town called Peniche, and it was just great.

The spring was in full blossom, whole country was green and alive and so were the waves. Date was april 25 and to top it off, lineups looked deserted.

After 2 weeks of enjoing the place, with swell falling and rising, we only had 3 days of crowds... for weekend and one national holiday - unfortunately it was really small and, well, school waves... with lots of schools around :D.

I must say we had really fun driving there and back, we had a Mercedes Benz 300 vintage, yr 70 something. With five in car and all the luggage, we had enough place to make a bed for the drivers :D.

Way back was much more funnier, thanks to me. I lost all my documents there. Even with this weak border next to Italy it was quite "fun" trespassing the borders to quiet and boring Slovenia. Plan B was to put on rubber and paddle from Trieste across the border.

Still on my mind to do, once... :D
