Everything was perfect : the sun, the swell, the wind but the tide was way too high!
So waves were big close outs. but I get after some few right bombs. And they were good !!!

All the signals were ok but the swell was dropping down and the tide has a 109 (!) coef...
I came just 2 hours after the low tide and I got just for 30mn a really good A peak. After I came near the border and found a fun righthander shorebreak.

Headed straight from work to the coast for a short session and managed to get some decent waves.. started off on my Quad but wasn't catchin much so changed to Mini-Mal and managed to cut up the waves a fair bit and even got into a "very" short barrel before it closed out! Not the longest session i've had but one of the best i've had!

Description:
Every things seemed allright :good swell, good sandbanks, sun and offshore... But the tide was too high and waves were a little powerless.I stayed 3h in the water, abit disappointed but the water is so warm that the session was good enough.

We went with Mitch to Capbreton - Le Santocha. It was ridiculously crowded. We got some close outs and Mitch some incredible clos out tubes. ON my last one, I took a good right and was pretty proud but I finished near the big blockaus and the nightmare began. The rip was taking you directly under the blockaus and I couldn't escape. I struggled for several minutes to avoid to be blocked uneder the blockaus.
Scary.
After we went to la Piste : the level in the water was just incredible. Long and massive tubes, 360 aerials !
But when I went at the lineup, I realized my level was not enough to surf in a good security here (you can recognize it when you ask yourself at the lineup : "how I can come back to the shore ?" I just came back and stopped the session?. Netherless, the show was incredible.

The swell and the offshore were announced. I went to meet Mitch who was there for one week. We went to the beach and ouch : it was big ! I hesitated to go into the water but Mitch just went. I followed...
At the peak, it's impressive : massive ! I took 5 waves, my first was the best and the biggest. My 6'8" was too short, I should have take my 7'3". You need full commitment to take off. It was the most powerful waves I ever took.
2 ghost sets took me underwater : I recognize I was scaried.
I have passed the test and the spot is truly not for beginners.
I took 2 waves like this : ouch...

Haaa, still with Mitch and Olivier : we tried the Mascaret after an incredible storm.We stay on the left side but it was a mistake as the good start was at the opposite border. Nethermind, I catched the wave and YES surfed it for one kilometer. So much fun !

It was the first day of good surfing since a long time. 1.20m - 1,5 m, not prfect as it was multipeak and the sandbanks have moved but the waves were powerful. A lot of them closed out but sometimes, it was more than good !
I remenber my very first wave (good left) then at the end of the session : 2 big left tubes !!! and a good grab on my last waves, a right.

Headed to The Port with the mates to go for a surf, turns out it was a bit flat.. GUTTED! anyway.. chatted to the guys in Woodies for a while and then got lunch before hunting out some waves.. Headed to check out Runkerry Strand at PBT but it wasn't doin much so headed back to East Strand to see about hiring a SUP for the craic... decided that wasn't a good idea so got ice cream and then went to check out Whiterocks... we were in luck.. few small sets comin in.. turned out my bro was there with his family so ended up teachin him how to surf and havin a good laugh. managed to catch a good number of waves which meant the drive up wasn't a waste.
Hopefully heading again tomo!

Una sesión cortita, pues estaba dando la clase. Solo tuve tiempo a pillar dos olas pues estaba pendiente de los cursillistas. Me hice un rolazo muy buento. Se nota la práctica en la cama elástica, aunque el dolor de cuello y el rascazo que tego en la nariz no me lo quita nadie.

The swell was not perfect but they were enough waves to have good time. it was multipeak, with short waves but hollow ones.
I have done a tube, and also a small funny aerial. A good session with a good atmosphere even they were a lot of surfers.
