Only two waves but the swell was very powerful (1.20, 1.50 m with 11s) and I was alone in the water. I took two really beautiful waves ! But as it was hard to paddle out, I prefered to come safely back.

Nice 1.35m waves at Rotto and light offshore breeze, but by 8:30am there were 28 guys in the water.
You could barely take a left without having to dodge boards, and drop-ins were frequent.

It started off really crap and bumpy, but after about 15 minutes it got glassy, super hollow and big for about 2 hours then got crap again when the seabreeze came in.
about 10 people out, the busiest i've seen alkimos and a few of my freinds got dragged over the reef and cut themselves up pretty bad, and I bellyflopped onto a sharp bit of ankle deep reef and ripped open my wettie, winded myself and bruised my chest.

I expected a classic session with tibok and zitoune : solid swell, offshore as the week (and i didn't surfed). Carcans : solid waves, no banks. Hourtin : possible surf but impossible to go out. Montalivet : surfable but bad and waves were too small to be surfable at le Gurp.
So it was a lot of road for a desapointing session...

Wonderful waves : I was alone on my peak (a lot of close outs but some opened and it was good). 2 tubes ! Waves were around 1.5m sometimes 2m.
On the other peaks the locals were really angry and stupid with people. A shame.

I had a few good sessions out at Carrapteira in early November with light offshore winds and small but fun waves. Got my new fish to work which performed really well in these conditions (thanks Justin @ www.morphsurfboards.com !!
Most of the crowd surfs the wave right next to the rock. Keep on walking a bit and you will find a pretty nice left carrying on for 100m or so.

Hi,
We spent one week surfing in El Paredon, which includes somes though paddle session against some rips and 6ft close-out waves. Every morning nice offshore conditions but propably needs some smaller Swell, so that the waves won't close out. Stayed at Surfhouse El Paredon and enjoyed great hospitality with excellent food, nice location and friendly people. Even while not surfing it wasn't boring at all. Swimming-Pool, Slackline, Beach-Volley, Chess, Turtle release and chatting with nice people made it an absolutly great stay.

I expected good conditions but I found only poor close outs when I arrived.I went to right. Then little by little, conditions improved themselves. I catched few hollow rights (grab and also :-) ). I went out after 2 hours and saw far away a good left-right. I got two good lefts then several good rights with several turns.
