Hi,
We spent one week surfing in El Paredon, which includes somes though paddle session against some rips and 6ft close-out waves. Every morning nice offshore conditions but propably needs some smaller Swell, so that the waves won't close out. Stayed at Surfhouse El Paredon and enjoyed great hospitality with excellent food, nice location and friendly people. Even while not surfing it wasn't boring at all. Swimming-Pool, Slackline, Beach-Volley, Chess, Turtle release and chatting with nice people made it an absolutly great stay.

Description:
I just had a great week of surf in Guatemala at El paredon surfcamp. I was lucky with the waves. Everyday sunshine and at nights sometimes a shower. No crowd at all and beside surfing i realeased some baby turttles, reading in a hammock, hanging out with the other guests and some locals. the beach is excellent for running or walking. I am a beginner but i had really fun riding some waves!

Description:
Waited over 5 hours at airport before ride came. We were promised pick up by Adolf. He left town, sent a broken down VW that crapped out. Had to ride taxi. The waves were chest to head high+ glassy in morning. Strictly short board waves. Close out for Longboards. Planned to stay 2 weeks left after 3 days. The huts had no electricy as promised.
