Description:
we went down to surfside because some groundswell was forecasted because of a tropical storm in the caribbean. I thought surfside would catch this swell better because of the angle it was coming. Man was i right, we got there and there were some people getting small barrels. Every wave was just walling up PERFECTLY. It started out just overhead and dropped to about waist high or so by the end of the day. But, the quality of the waves stayed consistent. This was probably the second best day I've seen at surfside in two or three years. When we saw pictures from galveston we couldn't have been happier that we went to surfside. Galveston was a mush bowl. We took our underwater camera with us, but I havent got the pics developed yet. I do have one picture of me that day that someone took and posted on the web.
