Written by megcanada show megcanada profile

Tuesday November 30 1999 12:00:00 AM

Surf spot: Surfers Paradise, Australia

Session's Rate:

Wind Strength: Established

Length of the surf session: 2 hours

Weather and water temp: Beautiful sunshine

Waves height: 1m-1.2m / 3ft-4ft

Waves Quality:
- Bumpy

Description:

This was my first surfing lesson ever. The shore break was killer, mainly due to the massive sand bars. Ate a lot of sand that day. Only after the lesson did the instructor suggest other places that were more beginner-friendly along the east coast of Australia. (See Noosa.)
