Description:
Conditions were perfect and clean when we arrived at 8:30am. After an hour in the water, everything changed and the onshore winds were making conditions extremely choppy. Sunny all morning.
I met a nice girl out in the waves who encouraged me to keep my feet up and crossed when paddling. So I spent a lot of time working on that (balance). I caught a couple waves that were decent. I was pretty impatient and paddled for numerous waves that were too small to catch, then got pushed in by the rest of the set. This lead to long paddles back out to the lineup.
Overall a pretty average day. My mother in law came down this day to enjoy the beach. We both really enjoyed the Barena surf stop stand that's been there all summer. They keep it clean. There's racks for your board and always security nearby.
