Description:
When I got there the crowd was small (5-6 people), but by the time I had paddled out there were at least 10 people out, by the time I was done around 14. A bit too crowded for me as I had to give way numerous times to others.
Water was clean, but a little choppy, but cold! Last two days have been some of the coldest this summer. It was a lot warmer last summer.
Caught a few waves, but too crowded to get more. Lots of big sets that just white washed everyone too. So there was a decent amount of paddling and duck diving.
The sunset was beautiful and the waves never stopped pumping the whole time. Finally got a little too cold even with my 3/2 full wet suit so I called it a day before cramping up. Would have been a nice day for gloves.. which I've never had to use in summer here before.
