The waves will be excellent and the crowds less than the dry season. Costa Rica is beautiful all year round but the wet season brings on the green; enjoy, chill, should be an epic trip.

We are on the far Northwest coast, way off the track of all the commercial surfing crap going on south of us. On any day, you might, MIGHT, run into a local surfer. Otherwise, you'll have about 22 km of Pacific Ocean. It's good. If you are concerned about rain, stay home.
