Yeh, travelling is easy going in Costa Rica. All you really need it your plane ticket. Planning is overrated. Hostels are easy to find, as are beaches. Winging it is the best. We never booked ahead. If you do bring your boards, travelling around will be more difficult. It is easy easy to rent boards in all locations.
Questions: Do you need surf lessons? Are you bringing your boards? Do you plan on only surfing? How much travelling are you doing? When are you going!?
