How do you tell where the spots are?

If you are referring to the Atlas - then yes, the list of spots (all spots submitted by users) does not always match exactly the map of the surf spots (based on public domain information and or surfers contributions). We don't update the maps every time we add a spot to the atlas - waaayyy too much work. One solution would be to convert the whole system to googlemaps (like we do on wannadive.net, wannakitesurf.com etc...) This way there would be a direct link between the spots and the surf maps - now that might also prove to be really unpopular...
As for how to find individual spots, well, some of the spots have better descriptions than others to find them. Thats just down to the quality of the information we receive...
