Search for Santosha-Andaman Sea - 2005/02/23 19:29Drop anchor in Port Blair for $600, this place is the surf Shangri-La, full of hospitable tribes seeking tourism, but they don't surf too much so it's greatly overlooked, Senior Photographer John Callahan expedited the area and found what he called the best right-hander ever on one of the 572 uninhabited islands in this small region of the Indian Ocean. If anyone has a sea plane or a boat I'm down to reimburse this tsunami devastated tropical area with my exploration and sojourn amidst the islands described as the emeralds of the Indian Ocean. Re:Search for Santosha-Andaman Sea - 2007/03/21 23:27I'm planning on heading out to Little Andaman in a few weeks or so... problem is I got no board here... I've been doing an exchange here in India for almost a year now... and i'm dieing because i haven't surfed in almost a year now... when I heard of the Andamans I almost shit my pants out of excitement... When you were there did you see any extra boards laying around... or do you think any body could part with one of theres for some cash... also the breaks... do you have to have a boat or plane to get around... couldn't you rent a skiff for a few days for like 3,000 Ruppees... also another curiousity question... how much is a bottle of beer out there... i'm dieing for some water and waves this is like a dream to find out that right here like 30$ U.S. away is this untouched realm of perfect pealers... I know the time is around April to May but does it still work in June..
