Re:where to go if i want to surf and spak spanish? - 2008/12/28 00:05 I also recommend you to go to Costa Rica. I was there for 1 year (came back in July) and I haven't met many people that actually speak much english. Except for the american people...let's say you go to Jaco Beach...you will find loads of Engish speaking people there. But the trick is to talk spanish yourself to the ticos so they know you can speak spanish or that you're trying to learn it. Costa Rica is full of beautiful spots, I mean, there's the Pacific AND the Atlantic Ocean...there have to be places withut englsih speaking people

Panama is also very beautiful but I can only say: You would miss so much not going to Costa Rica!

Hope I could help U.

Re:where to go if i want to surf and spak spanish? - 2009/01/11 02:23 Thank you for all the info, Karma. What places can i go where no body speaks english and its close to surf? I have been surfing Encuentro in Dominican Republic which is a reef break, but i like beach and point breaks too.. Can you recommend anything? Do you also know about places to stay? I would love to share a house with other people close to the beach.
All info is greatly appreciated!!!
