Click here to see the profile of this user 		Re:United we stand, 2004 - 2007 and beyond. - 2010/10/27 20:02 Thanks for the beautiful shots in front of our family homestead there in Saleaaumua, apparently I was in Samoa with my Mum, Aunt, Uncle, Brother and his wife, the week after the Tsunami hit Tuesday 6th Oct - Tuesday 13th Oct and we stayed in the Samoa Outrigger Hotel. It was a very sad and painful experience, especially seeing the aftermath of it all.... It is totally different seeing it live, than watching a DVD.

A lot of tears were shared with the entire family, tears of sadness for the loss and injured beloved members, tears of happiness to see the overseas family members coming to their aid, in a spare of a moment.

During our stay in Samoa, we had to purchase a tank water to maintain stable and purified water for our nana, also purchased building materials/tools to build a Fale Apa for her to stay in during the meantime, out at the camp site.
