Australian East Coast on NOVEMBER - 2007/04/19 02:07Hi guys! I will depart from Milan , Italy , on November 1st to reach Sydney and then i will travel for 4000 kms up to Brisbane. A 40 days "on the road" trip...can't wait for it! Anyway I'm looking for people to surf with when I'll be there , and for some locals to get infos about Australia. I'll be completely alone , and i dunno if i can camp with a tent on the beach , when I'm outside the city...well I know just a pair of things and I have to learn everything else in the next 6 months... So if you have any kind of info plz write write and write me for spots , pub , hostels and everything. Thanks...maybe we'll surf together in Aussie. Byez!

Re:Australian East Coast on NOVEMBER - 2007/04/19 09:15a lot of the coastal towns have caravan parks where you can get a site to pitch ya tent pretty cheap.. theyll have shower blocks n communal kitchens for u to use and are usually walking distance to the beach.. theyre probably your best option.

Re:Australian East Coast on NOVEMBER - 2007/04/20 22:14Wow thank you for answering! But i mean...if i have to go to a spot in the middle of nothing and i want to camp on the beach...the risk of finding wild and dangerous animals is high?

Re:Australian East Coast on NOVEMBER - 2007/09/27 21:05Hi Illbunch, Australia is campers (and surfers) paradise, if You follow the rules, especially at nature reservations, it will be easy to get along. Check the web: http://www.camping.com.au/ Do You plan to travel along the coast or through the hinterland? With sidesteps inculded, it's only about 1500-2000kms fm Sydney to Brisbane! My wife and me will also be there in november, but driving in opposite direction fm Brisbane to Sydney. We have no real schedule when we will be at any place, so if we are lucky, maybe we meet! Catch a wave !!!
