Beginner needs help!!! - 2007/03/15 14:50 I am in desparate need of someone to teach me how to surf. I understand the concept, but need someone to show me how to do it. Can anyone help?!

great that u wanna learn to surf. My advice is if there aren;t any surf schools around you or mates to teach you, then teach yourself! I pretty much taught myself, it took me a while and some heavy wipeouts.. some lessons learned, but I wouldn't have done it any other way. Noone can teach you how to get a feel for the ocean other than yourself.
