Re:surf buddy bournemouth n surrounding area - 2011/10/18 22:55 Hi guys,

I can see it's a while since this thread was posted, but I'm a novice surfer from Dorset too and I'm looking for people to surf with. Had two great weekends surfing (or trying too) in Cornwall and want to keep up with it.

If anyone fancies meeting up, let me know!

Re:surf buddy bournemouth n surrounding area - 2011/10/19 22:31 Hi Charlie

Cool, I see you live in the Purbecks?

I've never surfed at Kimmeridge - I've heard it's a bit rough for beginners because of the rocky ledges? What was it like when you surfed there?

in August and last weekend I spent some time down in Cornwall attempting to surf. I'd love to spend more time there or Devon as it's a bit closer. I know Bournemouth itself is very hit or miss, but according to a few people Southbourne can be alright and Highcliff.

Let me know what you think and where you'd like to surf!
