Surfing French Polynesia - 2008/09/12 02:40Hey, has anyone got any useful info about surfing and travelling to Tahiti. If anyone knows any cheap airlines that would be sweet.I know the main spots like Chopes, Taapuna and Papara but any spots that aren't very well known would be useful to know aswell. Also, just wanted to know about the sea life there and if there is anything to look out for. Any other info aswell, its all gd. Cheers Olly

Re:Surfing French Polynesia - 2008/09/12 16:10Check the spots on the north coast: there are good beach breaks and also unknown reef breaks. The maps on wannasurf is rather complete. Also, check Moorea as the island is close to Tahiti
