Ireland: how to bring boards from coast to coast? - 2007/03/04 21:47Hi all surfers I'm from italy and I'd like to enjoy some soul surfing in Ireland. The cheapest way for me is by Ryanair, but from here I can only get to Dublin. Do you know if there's any coach/bus service to Bundoran (on the other coast) which will pick my board too without stealing me too much money?
Maybe I can try to rent or buy one board overthere? I don't know the prices..
Thank you very much in advance for the help

You can load you board on the bus no problem, the irish are very honest people and they won't rob your board. There are good value to travel with. you can check there web site, there are the main and only bus company in ireland. There will definitively board for hire in Bundoran, it might be the easiest thing all together. How long are you going for?

I know and I also think it would be nice to give some money to good people in Ireland offering me the possibilty to surf their waves.. but I'm not paddling into the money right now, so I thought it was the cheap way.. for example it costs only 22.50 euros to bring my board there by ryanair.
How long are you going for?
2 weeks, 1 month or 2 month.. it depends upon the possibility to find at least a part-time job
Any suggestion would be appreciated, thanks for all.
