Re:a few thoughts on morocco - 2010/05/20 18:42 salut

Re:a few thoughts on morocco - 2010/05/25 22:31 That pic just sums up our ignorance and detatchment from the things that really matter . Im glad you had a good time josefina it sounds like you got exactly what you were looking for in morocca and enjoyed a nice cultural experience also, pity about the rubbish tho!. In Ireland in the summer we have the same problem, the beach by me gets alot of parties at night and in the morning the sand is littered with broken bottles and rubbish it even got to the extent that before we surfed we had to snorkel in front and behind the sand bar to look for bottles that have been chucked into the sea. Unfortunately I have to say that it is Irish students and older that are doing this to the area and that the europeans have a much more respectful view of the beach and sea, packing up their rubbish at the end of the night etc

Re:a few thoughts on morocco - 2010/06/06 01:12 Hey guys,
Morocco is a growing country, and specialy some areas like Taghazout, are getting develloped fast in terms of arrivals to the village, the capacity is here as people are building all the time new properties, the mentality also is favorable for tourism as the population here is very peaceful and friendly, but the habits and customs of people are also getting globalized. For the surfing, i think that Morocco now is THE surf school of Europe in winter time, as it's pefect with it's sandy beaches and warm waters. it's not getting crowed yet and still lots of spots to discover.
I consider that i'm one of the many causes of the devellopement in this village and i wanna make sure that it's done properly (i run one of the businesses here) so i would always happy to reply to your posts about this surfing heaven
