good novice spot in CA / Hawaii in nov - 2009/09/28 23:09 Hey guys,

im absolutely new here, but i hope you can help me out with finding a good spot for a beginner somewhere in south cali or hawaii. im not looking for huge waves, i'd rather surf a spot with consistant small/middle waves as im still well in the learning phase. im flying in from europe for 2 weeks, so i really don't wanna mess it up...

any suggestions highly appreciated, thx a lot!

Re:good novice spot in CA / Hawaii in nov - 2009/10/25 10:50 diamond head.. walk down the hill and paddle out directly in front of the bridge way above. gets crowded tho sometimes, but if you stay on the inside it's great for learning

Re:good novice spot in CA / Hawaii in nov - 2009/11/04 10:38 In So-Cal (Orange County) this time of year go to, Doheny or San Onofre, these are two easy breaking spots that are mush burgers and very easy to surf. You will be in crowds so be cool.
