Re:Tenerife, Surfspot!!!!!!! - 2009/10/06 20:44If you have enough time, go to Bajamar/Punta del Hidalgo in the north! The 2 spots are great and the locals were really friendly.

Re:Tenerife, Surfspot!!!!!!! - 2009/10/07 06:44just can confirm what the others are saying. vibes in the north (punta del hidalgo area are much better than at las americas and the formentioned spots. crowds can get quite nasty down in the south. beware of pickpockets, don't leave any valuables in the car ! from las americas to the west there are some reefbreaks as well, might be good if waves are about 4 foot at las americas. have a look at the surfguide for teneriffe on this site.

Re:Tenerife, Surfspot!!!!!!! - 2009/11/15 06:50thanks guys. i watched out for the k16, but i checked also an another shop, and it was more friendlier and cheaper.
i had an lesson about 2 1/2 hrs and the rest of the day the board for 35 euros... and the following days the guy gave me the boards for an really friendship price
it was in playa de las americas. the waves are good there, but many locals there. anyway, i had an good time there. but next time i will check out the north
thanks again
