When it was perfect in the north, i was there, the same for the south ("baja california")...the best surfing I had in my live...
My girlfriend now is all the time talking about buying a motorhome and come back for a year to Fuerteventura....

the best part of the island is the north during winter...Corralejo and Lajares is the center of the surfing..there are many apartments or surfcamps to stay. You will have to rent a car because there are 40km of perfect waves in the north.
This pic is just in the other side of the island. It works great when the north is really big.
For me is the best of this island when is good. This works from december to march, and it needs 8-10 feet.
Other way to stay just in front of the best wave is to rent a motorhome.
