Tips for surfers planning trip to France? - 2009/01/19 22:56Hi fellow surfers!
Three friends and me, all intermediate surfers (4 years surfing approx 1-2 times a week) are planning a surftrip to France. And therefore I would like to ask anybody with knowledge on the area the following questions:
1) What are the -MUST SURF- spots? 2) what's the best time of year surfing France? 3) any additional advice for cruising France?
Appreciate all answers! Merci!

Re:Tips for surfers planning trip to France? - 2009/01/20 06:58Yann is right, and I like to give an additional hint to #3): Take a campervan, along the coast are lots of cheap places reserved for "Camping Cars". At some beaches You are allowed to stay overnight out of holiday season. Also You'll find lots of good camping grounds - especially at the time of year Yann recommended. Have fun!

Re:Tips for surfers planning trip to France? - 2009/01/20 07:23Thanks Yann and Herwig! Great advice. We'll sure look into getting a proper 'camping' van then, sounds like a great deal with those places reserved for "camping vans". Cheers amigos!

Re:Tips for surfers planning trip to France? - 2009/08/03 15:01You can try “Les Sablères***” in Vieux-Boucau or „ Les Cigales***“ in Moliets, there are more, just don't know the names
