where should i live in brasil, the best surf spot? - 2008/07/14 16:07where is the best surf spot in brasil, i'm a girl from norway and I'm moving to brasil. so i wondering, where should I settle down in brasil. I want to live like almost 30minutes outside the town (which is the best town, i dont wanne live in a tourist place?) ex. i want to live right beside the beach so i can surf everyday and no to far away from the gym. Can anyone local or someone good know help me? I would be very thankful and happy )

Re:where should i live in brasil, the best surf spot? - 2008/12/21 07:54yeah man come to floripa, rio woulf be way too big and dangerous. there are heaps of places to stay in floripa and some of them right inf front of some good breaks. If you have the lonely planet guide would be a great helper, nevertheless you can find out info on the web as well. have a good trip!

Re:where should i live in brasil, the best surf spot? - 2009/01/10 23:45hey, I'm just going to say what everyone else did too, floripa is great, easy going, safe, good surf... Rio on the other hand is such an incredibly exciting city with so much going on and beautyful too (but obvously not as easy going and safe as floripa)! I've only been in Rio a couple of days but if you have a car, there is so many places and spots to dicover around rio I think, also easy going ones. Theres a really nice family run hostel in the area which is called surf'n'stay I think, its quiet and small but right by the beach and lovely if you want to focus on surfing for a couple of days and get setteled in
