Surfing clothes - 2008/07/08 22:46Hey guys, As we all know there are not so many brands which make surfing clothes, and i just wanted to know everybody's opinion, which one you think is the best? When you re surfing the first thing you need is comfort, and then fashion. Maybe i pay attention to it toomuch, but it's important for girls, and all i see know is the same colours, same models... Maybe someone could tell me, where can i find something cool and comfortable? That's just a general discussion, so i think it'll be interesting to take into account any other questions about clothes.

Re:Surfing clothes - 2008/07/08 22:59Yeee, It's really important, sometimes clothes are good quality, but it looks ugly. I like clothes and doesn't matter if that surtwear or casual it has to be nice and funny and yummy. I like bright colors and soft dress material.

Re:Surfing clothes - 2008/07/09 18:14Well, actually i'm very glad that "a (small) range of wannasurf T-shirts may appear soon", but I really wanna know which quality is the best, which colors are the most popular and so so on.
And about Wannasurf T-shirst. How do you know that people will like them? I saw too many ugly T-shirst for surfers and just a bit - really nice and cute (i mean for guys).
Best waves, V.

Re:Surfing clothes - 2008/07/09 18:40Quality is probably the easiest - as its just three factors (1) quality of the cotton (2) quality of the build (sewing) (3) quality of the printing
We have spent a lot of time looking at this - as well as considering the 'ethical' aspects. We don't want to have shirts made in sweat-shops which have big carbon foot-prints. So part of our "range" will be 'Bio' products, sourced from companies like American Apparel.
The Quality of the designs is mainly down to the way in which the images are transferred to the T's. The most solid ways cannot handle many colors (or it gets very expensive fast). So this is a limitation. If you want to print T's with photos or coplex graphics it is possible, but the results will not survive multiple washing...
We have no idea what colours/designs will be popular - so we are doing what we like - again, anyone can make suggestions.
And since we don't know what will sell - we will be doing this through a partner company which makes the T's to order on an individual basis (don't you love the internet!!)
