Re:Best time to surf West Europe? - 2007/09/06 04:18semptember-october is best - a good chance of the autumn swells, water is still warm (actually warmest of all year), and most of the summer crowds have gone home.

Re:Best time to surf West Europe? - 2007/09/07 03:44Brittany is relatively large, what is Your estimated destination, North- West- or South-Brittany? For my optinion, beginners find better conditions in the southern part, it's no so rough, water is warmer and most important - there is more sand beyond the surface.

Re:Best time to surf West Europe? - 2007/09/11 07:01Start in Ireland when the wind is come and the storms are still small (around now). Than keep making your way south as the swell picks up and the weather gets worse...through spain, portugal and end up in Morocco before the Christmas crowd.
