Here's one from me ------ Airlines!

These are the ones I will travel with:
1. Easyjet - Cheap flights, and they charge £15 per board per flight, a reasonable cost.
2. BMIBaby - Cheap flights - never taken a board.
3. British Airways - Never been charged for boards - great.
4. Singapore Airlines - Didn't charge for boards on last flight and yummy ice creams.

I would rather castrate myself with a lump hammer than use again:
1. United Airlines - Having checked by phone they would take a board they tried to refuse to put it on the plane when I reached the airport. Eventually they agreed but charged me £70 one way and flatly refused that I could bring it home from my destination, resulting in me selling the board on holiday.

Its good to have a moan. Add your gripes to this thread, especially about airlines so that we can avaiod getting ripped off.

South African used to carry "sporting equipment" for free, but I think thats changed...

why are the so mean to us surfers?...did you read this?

Fast Food - Burgers.

Last weekend I had to go away with work, out of shear desparation I had to eat a burger from an undisclosed hamburger retailer. That stuff is pure SHIT. No wonder we have an overweight, lazy spotty generation. I won't feed that crap to my dog (if I had one).
