Re:longboard v shortboard - 2007/02/17 02:37I am a shortboarder but I also have a longboard that I ride every now and then. Sometimes I just get the urge to cruise and take my 9'6" out, typically when the waves are too small for a shortboard.

Re:longboard v shortboard - 2007/03/08 08:16I surf in Rhode Island and a longboard is very helpful during most of the year. Its not very fun to ride a shortboard on blown out waist high waves. However, when its good, a shortboard can be very fun. My vote is for the longboard.
