Scurfing/Surf Wakeboarding - 2009/07/21 01:25 A friend of mine has offered the use of his boat when the surf goes flat this summer for some wake surfing.

He has a rib and a fishing boat. One is faster the other bigger, I presume making a larger wake.

Is it best to use a towline or handrail contraption to get started and what is the optimum speed of the boat if known?

If we get this sort I will post all the amusing footage on youtube for you all to have a jolly good laff at!!

I know they have a lot of competitions posted on you tube, maybe some dash shots?? lol Any way, I wish I knew more about that, what's the worst conditions you can possibly go in?? Some times the bay around where I live gets a little rough, But I would love to try this!!
