Feel kind of ridiculous asking, but here it goes: spending 2 months from feb-apr in athens, greece - mainly staying in glyfada... can anyone tell me if there is any surfing chances nearby? [Also bear in mind i'm a rookie in this thing, so don't send me off to do any complicated acrobatic surfing - don't mean to sound like a wimp chick, but hey - that's just how things are ]

Guess I'll have to drag the old board with me, just to be on the safe side... It's about time it left the country, too... although all my friends will tease me if i tell them my 1st surf trip was off the atlantic coast to the MEDITERRANEAN puddle
