I worked construction on a bank that overlooked boat basins for about 3 months. must have been about 10 years ago. the year typhoon wilda hit the island. we surfed boat basins perfect for a couple of weeks. one day got huge. started tripple overhead and then freak sets walled across the harbor entrance . some japanese guys drowned when they were sucked into the rights. that place can get heavy.
What is the name of the shallow right hander that breaks along a reef on the otherside of the island? there used to be a bright colored playground with grass in front and I think a gas station across the street. not sure it has been a long time. I left a chunk of skin on that reef. thanks for any info you have. sirfdog
